Day one: YIKES!

I was away this past weekend and sick on Monday SO Tuesday was definitely a wake-up call! I am training for a half-marathon in Philadelphia on November 18th and resting is no longer an option.

I did the group work-out with the FOX43 Get Fit team at Phases in York. It was an awesome 1-hour circuit with stretching, weight-lifting, cardio and core work. And it was fun sweating with Chris and Courtney!

I ate pretty healthy too – fruit smoothie in the morning, greek yogurt & baby carrots for snacks, egg white burrito for lunch and veggie rolls from Trader Joe’s for dinner! Plus, I said no to a pumpkin whoopie pie which may have been the most difficult thing I’ve done all month.
