Puppies stolen from pet store in Springettsbury Township

SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY–—Police are on the lookout for two men who stole a puppy from a York County pet store. It happened on Nov. 13 at Gettys Pet Shop in the 2900 block of Market Street in Springettsbury Township.

Investigators say one of the suspects grabbed an Old English Bulldog puppy from its crate and hid it in their coat while the clerk was helping another customer.

The two men fled the store and were spotted getting into an older model Black Ford pick-up truck.

A mixed Jack Russell Terrier puppy was also taken from the pet store the day before. It is unknown if these incidents are related.
