A new cosmetic procedure called the “vampire face lift” uses a patient’s own blood to help them look younger. After blood is drawn from the patient, it’s separated in a lab. The platelet rich plasma is then mixed with fat fillers and then injected to smooth the wrinkles. The procedure is FDA approved and dermotologists say it lasts for about 15 months.
