The Ephrata Public Library will hold a 24 hour fundraiser on November 30th. After significant funding cuts from the state, the library was forced to cut their hours in 2010. Since then, library officials have been trying to figure out a way to reopen on Fridays. The ExtraOrdinary Give is providing the library, and other nonprofits in Lancaster County, an unique opportunity to raise funds and receive a pro-rated portion of a $250,000 pool. Throughout the day, special events are taking place. Attendance to all events requires a $25 donation to the library. Donations can only be made on November 30 using the Foundation’s website, http://www.ExtraGive.org. Minimum donations are $25 and must be paid by credit card.
