Wilson was very good in every phase of the game Saturday night at Hersheypark Stadium.

And Harrisburg was not.

It was that simple as the Bulldogs scored touchdowns in all three phases of the game to roll past Harrisburg 39-14 in front of 3,072 paying customers.

This is the fifth District 3-AAAA title for Wilson, and the Bulldogs are still the only team from outside the Mid-Penn Conference to win the big-school crown.

Senior running back Jimmy Brooks delivered the killer blows for the Bulldogs. The 5-7, 155-pound burner totaled 298 all-purpose yards and rang up four touchdowns.

Brooks scored a pair of rushing touchdowns in the first half to stake Wilson to a 17-0 advantage.

Then he sent the Bulldogs on their way by returning the opening kickoff of the second half 70 yards to the house that made it 23-0.

Less than 30 seconds after the game changing kickoff return, Javon Brooks took back a deflected pass from Harrisburg quarterback Kyle Cook 29 yards to give the Bulldogs a comfortable 29-0 cushion.
