Multiple arrests made after rash of arson fires in Silver Spring Township

Four people have been arrested in connection to a rash of suspicious fires in Silver Spring Township over the weekend, including a blaze that damaged a home that was under construction. The first fire was reported around 8:22 p.m. on Friday night  inside a home along the first block of Glendale Drive. Officers found two small fires burning inside and were able to put them out.

About an hour and a half later officers were called back to the same location where two vehicles were set on fire.

Jonathan Moser, 21,  and a 15-year-old juvenile, both from Mechanicsburg, have been charged with Burglary, Arson, Criminal Mischief , Criminal Trespass and Criminal Conspiracy. Anthony Arbogast, 22, of Camp Hill, is charged with Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief and Criminal Conspiracy. Shelbi Usko, 18, of Lewisberry is charged with Criminal Mischief and Criminal Conspiracy.

Moser was taken to Cumberland County Prison and is awaiting arraignment.

The juvenile was taken into custody by Juvenile Probation and placed in a detention center.
