It was a packed house at Mount Joy’s borough council meeting. The board is facing a $450,000 budget gap. They are looking at different ways to make up the budget shortfall. Everything is on the table from tax hikes to cutting jobs. Residents are not in favor of any cuts to the police department. Meetings to possibly discuss the budget problems are December 10, 11, 17 and 18.
