A Lebanon County woman is dead in a one vehicle crash. It happened at around 1:30 Monday afternoon in the 100 block of Ridge Road in Union Township. Pennsylvania State Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Amber Yordy, of Jonestown.
Yordy, behind the wheel of a white 1998 Saturn, lost control on a left hand curve in the roadway. Her car went airborne after running up an abrupt incline on the north side of the road. The car flipped several times, ejecting Yordy, who was not wearing a seatbelt. She was lying on the ground when rescue crews arrived. A deputy county coroner later pronounced her dead at the scene.
