A church is broken into and ransacked in Cumberland County. It happened sometime overnight between Sunday evening and Monday morning at the Grace United Methodist Church at 309 Herman Avenue in Lemoyne.
The suspect broke out one of the churches windows and ransacked a few areas as they looked for cash, police said.
The robber got away with a few items. Right now the loss to the church appears to be very minimal, police said.
During the investigation, the owner of Player’s Exchange, located directly behind the church, told officers that someone also attempted to break into his shop overnight.
Police believe the two incidents are connected due to their close proximity to one another.
