Firefighters battle 2-alarm blaze in York

Firefighters were able to contain a fire in a vacant building on the 500 block of West King Street this afternoon. The fire was reported at about 1:45pm and quickly went to two alarms. Officials report 540 West King Street is a vacant home. There were no injuries. Firefighters quickly knocked the flames down but not before the building sustained heavy damage. The investigation continues.
