Freezing Rain Advisory

***FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY through the early morning hours for Mifflin, Juniata, Snyder, Northumberland, Schuylkill, and Berks Counties*** With temperatures expe...

With temperatures expected to be close to freezing and below when a shield of light rain moves in, it is quite possible it could create a thin glaze of ice on contact.

Most roadways are still mild after the recent 60s we had but some of the bridges or overpasses may experience a brief light glazing before temps rise.

Rain will reach the Central Mountains just before sunrise and continue to spread into the Northeastern Mountains shortly after sunrise. The temperatures will warm up fast enough to make just a brief window of 2 to 4 hours when freezing rain could occur.

Most of the Lower Susquehanna should be fine as temps will be at or above freezing by the time the precip arrives.

If conditions should change, we will bring you the latest.
