It’s a whole new world for Disney fans. The multi-million dollar expansion is double the size of the old Fantasyland, adding Belle’s castle from “Beauty and the Beast” and Storybook Circus to join the iconic Cinderella’s castle.
In Belle’s village, Disney’s Imagineers are hoping guests feel like they’ve entered the animated tale. Every detail is an exact replica of the movie, from her father’s workshop, to the Beast’s castle, even the greetings are in French.
Belle’s not the only princess to get a new castle. Ariel and her prince from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” finally have a place to call home. At Prince Eric’s castle visitors can go under the sea and experience the mermaid’s adventure.
Disney’s massive expansion includes almost a dozen new rides and attractions and is expected to be complete in 2014.
