Some little elves in Cumberland County helped make the holiday season very special for some local children on Saturday. The volunteers are part of the United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County.
That group, along with the Women’s Leadership Council, held their 2nd annual ‘Gifts That Give’ event in Carlisle.
“To see the children smile, especially when they’re getting it wrapped and it’s just so nice they can have a gift that they can give to their Mom or Dad,” said Sherrie Davis with the United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County.
More than 100 youngsters took part in the “Gift That Gives’ event.
