Harrisburg City Council appointed its newest member Tuesday night. Council members chose Bruce Weber. Weber will replace Patty Kim who is headed to the Pennsylvania State House. Weber was chosen from the pool of 32 candidates. The council President says Weber is the best person to help the city move out if its financial mess. Weber issued a statement Tuesday night saying “he’s looking forward to helping the city move closer to fulfilling its promising civic and economic potential.”
