A woman and a 9-year-old child were asleep in their beds when four armed men burst through the door and robbed them in Dauphin County. It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning along the first block of Dallas Drive in East Hanover Township.

The suspects, wearing all black clothing and masks, entered the home through an unlocked door, state police said.

Troopers say the victim and child were held at gunpoint on the bed while the other suspects began ransacking the home.

While the suspects pillaged through the victim’s belongings they began asking for a person who was not at home during the incident.

The thieves got away with a laptop computer, two Xbox 360’s, an iPod Touch and a black leather purse.

During the robbery the suspects displayed a long gun and a machine gun style weapon, troopers said
