A man is dead after being struck by a falling tree limb in York  County on Thursday morning.  It happened  around 11:40 a.m.  along Taylor Road in Lower Windsor Township.

The victim, 65-year-old as Joseph Lahr, of Dover, was cutting down limbs with a tree service when the accident happened.

Lahr was taken to York Hospital where he later died.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
