17 students injured after SUV crashes into school bus in York County

Several students suffered minor injures after an SUV collided with a school bus in York County on Friday morning. It happened just after 7 a.m. in the area of Mt. Pisgah Road and Dawn Lane in Lower Windsor Township.

The bus was transporting 31 middle and high school students with the Eastern York County School District.

Seventeen of those students were taken to local hospitals to be checked out after sustaining minor injuries. The driver of the SUV was also taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The school has reached out parents of those students who were involved in the accident, according to the district’s website.
