Much colder start today with more sunshine

A weak disturbance is throwing some added clouds our way early this Wednesday morning.  The moisture associated with this disturbance doesn’t look to hold...

Thursday clouds will be on the increase ahead of an area of low pressure and its associated cold front.  Rain and showers will develop Thursday afternoon and continue overnight.  The rain may end as a brief period of snow as temperatures fall toward the freezing mark.

Northwesterly winds will kick in behind this system producing blustery winds and colder temperatures Friday into the weekend.  Additionally, Lake Effect snow showers/flurries will develop and a couple of them could make the trip into Central PA at times Friday and Saturday.

Long range weather guidance wants to bring yet another system our way just in time for Christmas.
