At around 6:15 p.m. Monday evening, Pennsylvania State Police were called to the 3000 block of Elizabethtown Road in Conewago Township, Dauphin County. Cindy Eisenhour, 51 of Elizabethtown, had been traveling southbound on Elizabethtown Road when she lost control of her car in the snow.

Eisenhour was driving too fast for the slippery conditions and her car spun out and into the northbound lane. A vehicle in the northbound lane tried to pull off the road to avoid Eisenhour but was unable to avoid the car and struck her vehicle.

The driver of the second car was taken to Hershey Medical Center with minor injuries. Cindy Eisenhour was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dauphin County Coroner.

many condolences to the victim's family… I will pray that somebody ensures to BAN cars & snow so that nobody else has to ever endure a tragedy like this… RIP Ms. Eisenhour

Really? You're using this tragedy as a soapbox for the 2nd Amendment? I'm on your side on that issue, but there's a time and place…this isn't it.

I'm sorry for the family but shouldn't a woman with her driving experience know to slow down in conditions like this? I was one of the ones diverted due to this crash and it was scary enough driving at 25 miles an hour on such slippery and curvy roads.
