Teen shot in Harrisburg drive-by shooting

A 19-year old male was shot in the chest early Wednesday morning while walking west on Regina Street. The teen was walking to the Harrisburg Fried Chicken on Market Street at around 1:50 a.m. when a dark colored car pulled up and someone fired a handgun at him several times for no reason.

The victim was taken to Hershey Medical Center but his injury is not considered life-threatening. Harrisburg Police are still investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Thomas Carter at 717-244-6586 or email tccarter@cityofhbg.com.
