Ford investing millions, hiring thousands in Michigan

FordFord Motor Company plans to spend $773 million over the next six months,  expanding several plants in Michigan and creating 2,350 new jobs.

The move is part of Ford’s plan to create 12,000 new jobs and invest $6.2 billion in U.S. plants by 2015.

About $160 million from this most recent investment will go towards production of the Ford Fusion at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant.
