Maria Smajic, of Harrisburg literally watched the ball a New York’s Time Square drop as her baby was coming into the world. At the exact stroke of midnight at Hershey Medical Center, she and her husband Alan became the proud parents of Jasmina Smajic. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 19 inches long.
The Harrisburg couple said the birth of their daughter has made 2013 the best New Year’s ever.
