GREETINGS: Hello everyone! I’m excited to join the Fox43 weather team as the new morning meteorologist! I’ll be joining you every weekday morning with the forecast form 5-9 A.M. I’m excited to be serving central Pennsylvania. I’m a PA native originally from Scranton, raised in Dallas, PA. I love this state and I’m happy that you’ll be letting me into your homes each and every day. Ok, enough about me, on to the forecast!
COLD AND CLOUDS: Only the letter U separates those two words, so it seems fitting they stick together today. Flow above our heads is from the west and that is promoting cloud cover which will stick around for the next day or so. We’ll be dry with a few peeks of sunshine possible, especially the farther south and east you live. It’s breezy today with winds out of the northwest 5-15mph. Temps will only hit the low 30s for highs. Bundle up! Tonight, clouds break a bit with lows near 20°.
MINIMAL CHANGE: The storm track and coldest of air will stay to our north for the foreseeable future. This means we may say a few weak impulses roll through in the days ahead. This works to bring some extra clouds form time to time, and possibly a few snow flurries with the wave that rolls through on Sunday. Expect highs to steadily climb into the mid 30s by week’s end. Saturday, we’re in the upper 30s and we hit the mid 30s for Sunday. Then we move into the 40s as we dig into some southerly flow to start next week. Additional sunshine returns next week too!
Make it a great Wednesday! Happy New Year!
