“Today I told my team, this would be my last ride.”
Those words from Ray Lewis as his long and storied career, comes to an end. He announces, that he will retire after the Ravens finish their playoff run.
Lewis says, “I just felt so much peace with my decision because of everything I have done in this league. I have done it, I have done it. There is no accolade that I don’t have but I never played the game for individual stats.”
There’s no doubt that the retirement decision from the future hall of famer has made an impact on his teammates and the city of Baltimore.
