A police captain in Illinois is banning his officers from eating at a Denny’s restaurant.
The decision came after five on duty detectives were told by the manager that they could not have their guns inside while they ate.
Now the captain says he doesn’t want his men dining there anymore, and that it was disrespectful to tell a police officer they couldn’t have their guns.
Denny’s has since apologized, saying it was a misunderstanding and that law enforcement officers can carry their weapons inside their restaurants.

wow with all that is happening in the country why would you NOT want your police officers carrying their guns! They are he to protect and serve. Where is your respect. I bet if some idiot would come in there shooting you are going to wish they had their weapons on them.
