The City of York along with The York County Solid Waste Authority conducted a free Electronics recycling collection or otherise known as “E-cycling” on the first Saturday of every month at the parking lot of Memorial Stadium in York City .

Electronics collection will be the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will become one of the few spots to go to after January 24th.

Pennsylvania’s “Covered Device Recycling Act” mandates that “covered devices” including TVs, desktop and laptop computers (anything that connects to a computer such as a mouse, keyboard, printer, etc.) cannot be accepted at any state waste disposal facility and it also prohibits residents from placing them at the curb for waste pick-up.
