A “Check on the Welfare” call ends with the discovery of a body in Lancaster City.   Officers responded to the call  just before 11 o’clock Monday morning at an apartment in the 200 block of West Walnut Street/  The victim appeared to have been dead for some time.  Based upon their initial findings, investigators say the death appears suspicious and is considered a Homicide.
