A case of animal cruelty in Lancaster County. Someone shot an arrow through the head of a cat named Mack on December 22, 2012. It happened at around 11:30 pm in the 300 block of Walnut Street in Bainbridge. The arrow entered Mack’s skull through the front top of his head and punched through and out the back his head.
A witness reported seeing a dark figure standing in the backyard of Mack’s home. When the witness saw Mack sitting on the porch with an arrow through his skull the dark figure ran from the backyard towards North Second Street.
The field tipped arrow narrowly missed Mack’s brain but did strike through his sinuses causing a lifetime of sinus issues. The arrow was successfully removed later at Pet Emergency Treatment Services in Lancaster. Mack is back home with his owner and is in good health.
Susquehanna Regional Police is asking anyone with information regarding the attack to call them at (717) 426-1164.

If someone can do this kind of thing to an innocent house cat what else could they do and will do in the future.

That is so cruel. I hope they catch and lock up the sicko who did that. Poor kitty must be wondering what he did to deserve that when he didn't do anything. Such a beautiful kitty, too. I feel sorry for the kitty and the owners and I said a prayer for pets everywhere that God will put an end to these evil attacks on animals. God help us all.

There surely should be some fingerprints on that arrow that would lead them to whoever did this?!?!?! Or at least give some clues!
