A Shippensburg man is arrested for allegedly stealing$40,000 worth of steel pipe from a construction site in Cumberland County over the weekend. Crews arrived at the site located along the 5100 block of Trindle Road in Hampden Township on Monday morning and reported the theft.

Aaron David Babner, 20, of Shippensburg, is accused of stealing the steel pipe and selling it for scrap, police said.

Babner is facing numerous charges including theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

He was taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
