Nature’s call leads to gunshot wound for Harrisburg man

hbgshootingA man who stopped to take a leak got shot in the leg this morning. It happened around 8:30am in the alley behind the 1900 block of Bellevue Road. The victim tells police he’d dropped his child off at school and decided to go for a drive. He stopped in the alley to urinate and heard gunfire. He was hit in the thigh and ran around to Bellevue Road. He has no idea who shot him.

Police officers located a number of spent casings near the car the man was driving. The car is registered to another man from Allison Hill.

The victim, a 35 year-old Allison Hill resident, was taken to the Harrisburg Hospital for treatment.  The car was towed.
