The Ravens have only six days to recover from their wildcard victory, play in mile high altitudes and were just blown out by the Broncos in mid-December.  Still, they have no doubt they can win on Saturday.   “I love being the underdog,” said Ravens Cornerback Cary Williams.   “I actually feed off of that.  So I’m glad people are talking about how great Peyton Manning is and how great they are as an offense.  People are counting us out, we like that.”

Ravens Linebacker Ray Lewis talked about some of the pundits predictions this past weekend.  “I heard Tony Dungy say that he likes the Colts,” Lewis mentioned.   “The Colts were going to come in here and beat us, does that make him right or wrong?  He’s wrong this time.  So those are the things man, I love Tony Dungy to death but everybody has an opinion.”

Many of the players discussed the second chance they’ve been given after their 34-17 setback at home on December 16th versus Denver.    “It’s our one and only shot this year so we have all the motivation in the world to go win the game,” said Ravens Outside Linebacker Paul Kruger.   “We’re doing everything we can to get ready for that.”

Running Back Ray Rice admits the AFC #1 seed is a formidable opponent.  They’ve won 11 straight games and seem to have everything going their way.   “They are a great defense, they are a great team.   I’m not taking that away from them,” gushed Rice.  “They’ve earned the right to have their homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.  For all of our ups and downs, we’ve earned the right to get another shot.”

Playoff experience is certainly on their side, they are the only team in the NFL to win a playoff game in each of the past five seasons.   Kickoff from Denver is Saturday at 4:30pm.
