Four men accused of manufacturing counterfeit checks drawn on local businesses are in custody. Suspicions were aroused when one suspect, Cody Taylor, of Halifax, tried to pass a counterfeit check at the Metro Bank on Derry Street. Swatara Township Police were called to investigate. Taylor was arrested and police discovered he was working with an organized crime group from North Carolina. Investigators followed information on the suspect’s vehicle to an area motel where two more suspects, Erik Nelson and Jason Small, both of North Carolina, were taken into custody. A fourth suspect, Davila Roseboro, of North Carolina, was arrested at a local hotel and police gathered multiple items of evidence.
