A 400 pound woman says her size saved her life. when a sidewalk collapsed under her. She broke her arm in two places when the sidewalk gave way and she fell into a vault cellar in New York. Fire crews had to use a crane and a cargo net to pull her out. The woman says she was told a thinner woman might have died in the fall. City Inspectors say they have issued several citations to the building’s owner, for various maintenance issues.
