Investigators are looking for more information about a homicide victim’s activities prior to his death. Last week, Allan Wayne Hess was found dead in an apartment at 248 West Walnut Street. The autopsy determined Hess suffered “sharp force trauma.” Hess had been staying at the address for a short period of time.
Investigators are especially interested in Hess’ activities and whereabouts prior to the homicide and ask that anyone with information contact Det. Sgt. Nickel at (717) 735-3358 or Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-1913, or you can anonymously Text a Tip to Crime Stoppers by using your cell phone. Text LANCS plus your message to 847411. Callers may remain anonymous and do not have to give their names.
Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000.
