Northeastern’s Khalid Nwandu pours in 32 to reach 1,000 career points

At halftime, it appeared Northeastern senior Khalid Nwandu would need one more game to reach the 1,000 career point mark.   He took care of the milestone and Central York by pouring in 20 after the break to lead the Bobcats to a 58-56 victory.   Nwandu ended up with 32 of his team’s 58 points to finish the night with 1,005.   Northeastern improves to 8-5 on the season, Central York falls to 6-8.

Nwandu has signed a letter of intent to play in college at Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
