Midwest states may see rise in wind powered energy

windenergyKansas and Missouri may see a 700 mile wind powered energy line in the next five years.

Clean Line Energy is planning four lines for the future, costing the company about $2 billion.

Although it’s a costly project, Clean Line says wind is the way of the future, and it could potentially bring 5,000 new jobs into the area.

The company hopes to have the first line up and running by 2018.
