A weak front will pass through this afternoon bringing in much cooler air for Friday but good news, the sunshine will return as well.

Clouds will be with us into the evening but eventually start to clear overnight as high pressure builds in behind the departing cold front.  Lows will be colder dropping into the upper 20s.  Expect a colder but sunnier day to end the week.  Highs will be noticably chilly only reaching the low 30s with a light breeze.  There could be a few more clouds by afternoon as a warm front skirts by to our north.

Saturday we get a bump in temperatures as high pressure moves east.  Winds will shift helping to bring in milder air.  Temperatures will get into the low to mid 40s.

A significant change takes place Sunday.  Clouds will increase as a strong cold front comes in and a deepending trough sets up over the east.  Temperatures for the second half of the weekend should still reach close to seasonal averages but the airmass following the front will be the coldest we have seen this season.

Early next week, lows will drop into the teens and highs will struggle to warm through the 20s as a blast of Arctic air plunges southward.  It will remain cold for couple of days before temperatures start to moderate mid-week.  There will be several disturbances, one Monday and another Tuesday that may produces snow flurries or light snow showers.

Despite the cold air, we will not be dealing with a lot of moisture so I don’t anticipate much in the way of snow.
