Charges have been filed against a former chemistry teacher at Bermudian Springs High School for soliciting sex from a female student in 2011.  Robert C. Bonner, 39, of Dillsburg, has been charged  with endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

The incident occurred during finals week in 2011 at the high school. Bonner pulled the victim out of a psychology final and handed her a note asking if she wanted to have a threesome with his wife, according to charging documents.

The victim told troopers about the incident in late August of 2012. After learning of the incident, Bermudian Springs Superintendent Shane Hotchkiss confronted Bonner about it and he confessed, court documents stated.

The victim told investigators this was the second time Bonner propositioned her, according to the affidavit.

Bonner was arraigned on $10,000 unsecured bail.

School administrators accepted Bonner’s resignation at a Sept. 11 school board meeting.
