Lebanon City Police were called to the parking lot of Giant Foods Thursday afternoon at around 3:45 p.m. An 86-year old woman told officers that she had been pushed to the ground from behind and a man had stolen her purse.
The victim and witnesses observed two men running west from the scene and soon after both were apprehended by police. The victim’s purse was recovered in the weed bed along the railroad tracks near East Weidman Street. She suffered only minor injuries to the face and hands.
Police have charged 23-year old Brian Dugan of Bethel with Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy Simple Assault and Possession of Heroin.

Tyler Bender, 24 of Lebanon, was also charged with Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy. Both were arraigned and sent to the Lancaster County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail.
