The Lancaster group of the Sierra Club hosted the event at the Lancaster County Central Park.
The proceeds from the race support efforts to end global warming which is the reason polar bears and other animals are at risk of extinction.
There were close to 250 people who took part in the event and raised close to 4,500 dollars for the cause.
