Southwest Airlines rolling out a new fee for early boarding. It’ll now cost you $40 to be part of Southwest’s first boarding group. The airline does not have assigned seating and let’s passengers board in three groups. Currently, passengers can ensure they board first by buying a special business class ticket or joining a loyalty program. Now, everyone will have that option if spots are available.

Jeez, glad they don't do this with buses or movie theaters or when a traffic light turns green.
