Tuesday afternoon a jury in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania found Arthur Schirmer guilty of killing his second wife Betty in 2008.  They deliberated less than two hours.  Schirmer is a former pastor of a Methodist church.  Prosecutors say he hit his second wife on the head with a crowbar then loaded her into their car and staged a crash.

Schirmer will now face trial in the death of his first wife.  Jewel Schirmer died in 1999.  That trial will be held in Lebanon County.  Her death was originally ruled an accident.  Schirmer told police his wife fell down the stairs.  Prosecutors now believe he hit her on the head similar to the way he killed Betty.

Schirmer faces life in prison.
