Police in Harrisburg say a man found dead inside an apartment had been dead for over a week. The man’s badly decomposed body was discovered inside a third floor apartment along the 1600 block of Green Street on Saturday.
Authorities say the the property manager and a female relative made the grisly discovery. The apartment was locked and there were no signs of a disturbance, according to investigators.
Police believe the man had been dead for 10 to 15 days.
There were no visible signs of trauma but an autopsy is needed to determine his exact cause of death.
No word on the man’s identity.
