While most of us are bundled up inside during these cold temperatures, some brave men in Iowa hit the ice to go boating. Eric Sauter calls this interesting hobby, ice boating.
Boats on the frozen waters can reach upwards of 60 miles an hour.
Sauter said “This is actually the first time in two years we’ve had conditions to do this, it’s just prime out there.”
Pennsylvania is not the ideal state for ice boating, but people can ice boat if snow melts leaving waters frozen several inches below the surface.
