Facing Charges of Racism

The producers of “American Idol” are facing charges of racism.  New York attorney, James Freeman, is preparing to file a lawsuit on behalf of nine former black contestants.  It claims they were all forced off Idol to boost ratings.  To date, those nine are the only contestants to be publicly disqualified from the show.  Freeman alleges “Idol” made his clients appear to be criminals, liars and sexual deviants.  Producer Nigel Lythgoe is calling the suit ridiculous.
