Northern York County Regional Police hope the release of a surveillance photo of an afternoon bank robbery will lead to an arrest.  The suspect robbed the Metro Bank in the first block of Arsenal Road in Manchester Township.  It happened at around 2:15 pm.  The suspect, a white male about 5 feet 5 inches tall, wore a dark jacket, dark blue jeans, a black beanie and black gloves.  After milling around outside he walked into the bank and pretended to fill out a deposit slip.

He walked up to a tell and placed a black bag onto the counter. He then told the tell to place the money into the bag. He did not display a weapon nor threaten anyone.  After getting some cash he ran out the bank headed eastbound towards George Street.  He ran through some backyard and was last seen headed into a wooded area between Frelen Road and Interstate 83.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police through 911.
