Police stop a stolen car in Lancaster City and capture a man wanted for homicide in Puerto Rico on Monday night.  Jerry Rodriguez-Sanchez, 22, unknown address,  was taken into custody after officers stopped a vehicle with stolen registration plates along the 800 block of Manor Street. Rodriguez-Sanchez was a passenger in the vehicle.

Police say he was wanted out of Guayama, Puerto Rico for an Oct. 2012 homicide.

Lancaster City Police have contacted authorities in Puerto Rico and Rodriquez-Sanchez is awaiting extradition.

He is currently being held at the police station.

The driver of the vehicle, Tony Pesante, 26, was also arrested. He was charged with receiving stolen property.
