Police in Lancaster County  charge one of two suspects in January 28, 2013 home invasion in Clay Township.   The incident took place at 4:30 in the morning at home in the 1400 block of Furnace Hills Road.  Two men,  one of them armed with a short barrel shotgun and the another armed with a wooden mallet, forced their way inside while the owners were sleeping upstairs. The homeowners’ adult son was also asleep on a couch on the lower level.  The son was awaken to find the shotgun pointed at his face.  The men tied him up. The suspects got away with an X-Box 360,  a Turtle Beaches Headset, a cell phone, a wallet and cash.  They also took a small amount of marijuana and a small “mini-bong” water pipe belonging to the son.  His parents were asleep during the entire incident. Both suspects wore blue colored jumpsuits. Their faces were covered by bandana masks.

On Wednesday afternoon,  at around 12:15 pm, Northern Lancaster County Regional and Manheim Borough Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of West Burkholder Road in Clay Township.  They recovered a blue jumpsuit and bandana as well as numerous weapons. They also recovered other items linked to the home invasion.  Later in the afternoon, police arrested 25-year-old David Figueroa.  Charges against Figueroa include, Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking or Deposition, Uniform Firearms Act, Convicted Felon not to Possess Firearm, and Unlawful Restraint.  A second, unnamed suspect remains at large. The investigation is continuing.
