Boil Water Advisory Lifted

A boil water advisory for Mechanicsburg Borough is lifted. The Pennsylvania DEP authorized United Water to lift the advisory as of 9 o’clock Friday evening for affected customers in the company’s Mechanicsburg System, which excluded Center Square and Grantham.

All water quality test results were favorable and indicated that no presence of Total Coliform or E. coli bacteria in the water. The boil water advisory had been in effect since January 30.
