The York City Fire Department has determined that this morning’s fire at the Rodeway Inn was arson. A suspect is in custody and will be arraigned at York Central Booking.
The Duty Chief on call said that $750,00o in damage was reported at the motel. All 57 units in the building were evacuated and two people suffered minor injuries.
A firefighter also suffered minor injuries as a result of the fire. Fox43 will bring updates as they become available.

I am sorry for the people hurt, but it will be no great loss, to lose a great CRACK hotel….. that is dirty and smelly.
